What if the problem isn't a lack of motivation, but something else?

SYSTEM

Motivation is usually present, but it isn't enough on its own to sustain action. What's missing is a consistent structure broken down into specific goals. Goals that are too broad or vague often hinder rather than inspire.

ENERGY LEVEL

In cases of fatigue, sleep deprivation, or mental overload, motivation cannot translate into action. In such cases, what is needed is not more willpower, but conscious regeneration and workload management.

SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT

The environment and daily routine significantly influence implementation. Without a supportive structure, motivation quickly fades, even with a strong inner intention.

IDENTITY AND FEEDBACK

Perseverance is largely determined by how we define ourselves (e.g., "a consistent person"). Additionally, a lack of measurement and feedback weakens direction and commitment.

INTERNAL CONNECTION TO THE GOAL

If the goal does not stem from internal values but is an external expectation, motivation will fade over time. The real question is often: is this goal truly mine?

In summary: it is not motivation that should be sought, but rather the obstacle that exists at the level of the system, energy, environment, identity, or connection to the goal.

In coaching processes and wellbeing workshops for both individuals and companies, I can assist with: situation analysis, reflection, developing concrete steps, and targeted testing.
